  • Pro­vid­ing imme­di­ate CPR and AED (Auto­mat­ed exter­nal defib­ril­la­tors) with­in 3–5 min­utes of col­lapse increas­es sur­vival rates by as much as 70%; sur­vival rates with CPR alone are about 7%.
